CHU JU’S HOUSE

There’s a new baby on the way for fourteen-year-old Chu Ju’s parents, and it had better be a boy. The law says only two children per family, and Chu Ju knows traditions says only a son can bring honor to the household. If another daughter is born, it may be up to Chu Ju herself to set things right – even if she has to sacrifice her own future to save her sister. Ages 10 and up.
